Many-body physics of open quantum lattices
I will present recent advances in the quantum physics of open quantum lattices, with an emphasis on driven-dissipative nonlinear photonic systems and also lattices of spins subject to incoherent relaxation. In the first part, I will focus on quantum correlation/entanglement properties in collective bistability effects and spatial instabilities. In the second part, I will present novel results of my group about critical phenomena in 2D dissipative spin lattices by applying the recently developed corner-space renormalization method for 2D open quantum systems.
